KD Training Center is proud to recognize PJ Duke, who earned 3rd place at the World Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia. Competing on the world stage is never easy — it demands relentless effort, discipline, and belief. PJ displayed all of that and more this weekend as he battled his way to a World Bronze Medal for Team USA.
From early mornings in the room at KDTC to standing on the world podium, PJ’s journey reflects what KD Training Center is all about — consistency, preparation, and a refusal to settle. His ability to respond to adversity and stay composed under pressure demonstrates the mindset every athlete strives for.
Although the ultimate goal was gold, PJ’s ability to regroup and fight for the next best thing shows the heart of a true competitor. His bronze finish places him among the best in the world and continues to raise the standard for everyone training at KDTC.
“The road to the podium takes relentless effort, discipline, and belief,” said KDTC Head Coach Khaled Dassan. “PJ showed all of that this weekend. Although he didn’t get exactly what he wanted, he continued to fight for the next best thing, and we couldn’t be prouder of his effort and the way he competed.”
PJ’s performance not only adds another chapter to his growing legacy but also reinforces the culture that defines KD Training Center — one that develops wrestlers ready for any stage, from local tournaments to the world championships.
Every success like this reminds the KDTC family that hard work pays off, and the pursuit of excellence never stops.
The entire KD Training Center family celebrates PJ’s accomplishment and the example he sets for every athlete who walks through our doors. #KDTrained isn’t just a hashtag — it’s a way of life.
